March Madness Round of 64 Free Game Scores and Predictions

With the March Madness being in the full effect, there is still much to learn about the fates of some teams on the tournament bubble. For that matter, there may be a few locks for a No. 1 seed – Indiana, for one – but as we break down the games, there are few upsets you should consider looking into.

Round of 64 Game Predictions

(15) Albany vs. (2) Duke
Albany enters the tourney as the America East champion, but draws perennial power Duke in round one. The Blue Devils use the Great Danes as a tune-up for round two. Duke 82, Albany 45.

(11) Minnesota vs. (6) UCLA
After a 7-18 second half, Minnesota looks to make up for its dismal finish. UCLA is talented but plays nowhere near its potential. Gophers pull the upset. Minnesota 63, UCLA 60.

(10) Iowa State vs. (7) Notre Dame
The Cyclones are fun to watch and their run-n-gun style could present problems for the Irish. But, when Iowa State is off, they are abysmal. Notre Dame gets this one. ND 74, Iowa State 65.

(9) Villanova vs. (8) North Carolina
A much anticipated match-up featuring two teams that struggled at times during the season. Freshman Ryan Arcidiacono (12 ppg) has been a nice surprise for the Wildcats, but the Tar Heels have too much talent. UNC 73, Villanova 69.
