Triple Crown

It is almost time for horse racing season and the coveted Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes will soon by starting off.

Winning any of these races is challenging in its self, but taking first place in all three is quite an impressive feat. In fact, the last time someone won the Triple Crown was back in 1978, but this year’s horses have a chance of making history.

Last year’s competitions were exciting and gave race lovers an exciting several weeks. Super Savor took home the Kentucky Derby, Lookin at Lucky won the Preakness Stakes and Drosselmeyer found a way to win its race.

These upcoming races promise to be just as thrilling as the field is wide open with some potential Triple Crown winners. Uncle and Brethren are two horses who can win all three races and are being trained by the great Todd Pletcher. Pletcher won the Kentucky Derby last year with Super Savor, so it is clear that he is fully capable of leading horses to the finish line.

To Honor and Serve is another promising horse that can make history for the fist time since 1978. To Honor and Serve is being trained by Bill Matt, the same person who guided the 2010 Belmont Stakes winner, Drosselmeyer. Once again, this trainer has a proven track record of winning and can take To Honor and Serve to the top.

Dialed In could also possibly win the Triple Crown and has luxury of an ace trainer. Nick Zito has had his fair share of winning and led Ice Box to second place in the 2010 Derby.

The horses are preparing for another set of races and a few of them could take first place in all three of them. The Triple Crown is a coveted award and now is the time to place your bets on them.
